William Faden (1749-1836) joined the firm of Thomas Jefferys two years after Jefferys death in 1771. By 1783 he was in control of the firm. He is particularly noted for undertaking new surveys and for publishing foreign works in England. Shirley BL T.Fad 4a no. 29.
