A fine large plan of the city of Paris derived from that published by Nicholas de Fer in Paris, 1707. The title above the map is in French followed by one in Dutch: ‘Platte Grond van Parys zyn Voorburgen en Omleggende Plaatse’. With a lettered key lower left and an ornate cartouche lower right including scales of distance. The arms above are those of the Dauphine, the Duke of Burgundy (1682-1712) who had died in the interim. The size of the plan allows great detail to be displayed of what is now considered central Paris. The map is undated, however 1733 appears in pencil. Boutier (2002) no. 193 (B); Pedley (1992) p.25.
