The very large map of the continent of Europe was included in the ‘Atlas Physique, Politique et Historique De L’Europe’ published in Paris 1829. Many of the maps were provided by Maxime Auguste Denaix (d.1844) who was the ‘Chef de Bataillon au Corps Royal d’Etat Major’. Descriptive insets along the sides detail each country, population, area etc. It was engraved by Richard Wahl.
