The ‘General Atlas’ by Thomas Kitchin was published by Robert Sayer in 1773. This large map of the German Empire in four sheets was present in the first edition as offered here. The cartography is the work of Louis Delarochette. Geographically it ranges from the Low Countries in the west to Belgrade in the East. It extends southwards to take in the Gulf of Venice.
