Bearing the official stamp of the publishing house. Throughout the second half of the nineteenth century James Imray published a number of very high quality charts for marine navigation. This particular one covers the waters between Scotland (east and west coast) and Norway taking in the Faeroe Islands. With two insets on the right of Stavanger and Bergen. With publishers stamp dated 1891 and pasted on paper label over the title of the original chart seller George Wilson of London.
