This “Book of the Cat” is a series of stories and verses written by Mabel Humphrey for facsimiles of the watercolours by Elisabeth Bonsall. The pictures are wonderful. With manuscript inscription dated “xmas 06”. Not in Claire Necker ‘Four Centuries of Cat Books: A Bibliography, 1570-1970’.
