Quarto (255 x 195 mm), full publisher’s cloth with extensive embossed decoration to spine and upper cover. The latter bears an illustrated panel with two cats and a shoe. This is surmounted by the silver lettered title and three further cats in dress ice-skating in a winter scene. pp. 160 with a leaf of adverts front and back. Containing numerous uncoloured illustrations of various sizes throughout, some colour and a frontispiece in sepia. Overall in very good condition.
