John William Norie, a noted mathematician and hydrographer, took over the famous nautical chart firm of William Heather in 1812. A nice detailed chart of the central west coast of Sumatra or Indonesia with the region of devastating tsunami which struck the region on 26 December 2004. It includes numerous insets of bays and harbours. This whole region both coastal and the islands offshore was completely reshaped following the earthquake.
