In 1712 Eugene Henri Fricx published the ‘Table des Cartes de Pays Bas’ the first twenty-four maps of which formed a large map of the southern Netherlands. He was a noted map publisher in Brussels. In Paris, 1744, Etienne-Louis Crepy published his own version of the map. Koeman believes that their might have been an earlier state than this 1774 issue. It is the work of George Louis Le Rouge and here we offer the one sheet which covered the south-eastern tip of England. It is also the sheet which bears the very ornate title cartouche. Koeman (1967-70) II pp. 109-10 Fri 2A.
