An unusual birds-eye view of the town of Essech in Hungary believed to be from Lasor a Varea’s ‘Universus Terrarum Orbis Scriptorum’ published in 1713. His real name was Raffaello Savonarola and the two volume work was a compilation of plates and views from numerous earlier sources. Phillips 3475; Shirley ‘Atlases in the British Library’ T.Las 1a.
