This very rare English sea chart was first published in John Seller’s ‘English Pilot Third Part’ covering the Mediterranean Sea in 1677. This example was published by Mount and Page in 1727. Engraved by James Bennett it centres on the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. Upper left are the coast of Tuscany and the island of Elba. Shirley ‘Atlases in the BL’ M.Sell 1d no. 12.
