This is the first edition of this sea chart of the town of Kronshtadt, Russia. It is on an island just a few miles west of St. Petersburg and occupies a significant role in the defence of the city. In the year following this production the defences of Kronshtadt were improved with the completion of fortifications here shown in some detail.
