This is a superb example of the rare first state of Johann Baptist Homann’s map of Ireland. It was clearly never bound in an atlas as it still has no fold or guard and its original deckled edges. A nice sharp engraving which is particularly notable in the title cartouche which is so often faint. Bonar Law 63 state 1.
