A fine large scale map of Russia printed on two sheets. It effectively focuses on European Russia south to take in the Ukraine, Caucasus Mountains and Caspian Sea. There is remarkable detail on the map including the post roads, ancient ruins and other interesting notes. The map was first published by William Faden in 1806 and produced by Jasper Nantiat. This edition was published by James Wyld, successor to Faden.
