An engraved emblematic plate with the arms of Augsburg, Germany, whose Latin name is given as Augusta. A view of the town is at the bottom of the plate. It was published in the town in the ‘Principum Christianorum Stemmata’ by Antonio Albizzi (1547-1626) of Florence, a popular work of the day. It was engraved by David Custodis.
