A beautifully engraved map of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) by Berey. It is unclear whether this is Claude-Auguste Berey or Charles Berey as both worked for De L’Isle at the time. Guillaume de L’Isle set new high standards in cartography during the first part of the eighteenth century. Shirley BL T.Del 1c no. 63.
