This edition of the ‘miniature’ Ortelius atlas was first published in Brescia in 1598. The map is derived directly from that in the 1577 miniature Ortelius atlas, itself a reduced version of the folio by Ortelius in 1570. Shirley Atlases in the BL T.Bot 1a no. 3.
