This fine sea chart extends further south than most of these waters reaching 65 degrees south latitude. In the lower right corner is the tip of Antarctica with the South Shetland Islands. The Falkland Islands are upper right. The cartography comes from the voyages of the l’Astrolabe and la Zelee during the expedition of M. Dumont D’Urville.
