This attractively engraved map most probably by Thomas Kitchin is from the ‘The Modern Universal British Traveller’ by Charles Burlington. A key upper left numbers all the counties of England and Wales. Roads are depicted along with the mileage’s between way points which is explained in a legend beneath the title cartouche. Adams 60.
